HOW OUR COURSE OPERATES
We provide two flexible learning options for our GCSE and A/AS level physics courses.
The tutor-led course costs £850 for 12 weeks, for group classes via Zoom. Classes are held twice a week: Monday and Wednesday from 5-6 pm or Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5 pm. Classes are small, with around ten students per class.
Alternatively, self-learning offers flexibility, where you can access learning materials online and study at your own pace. Contact us for pricing details for self-learning.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Our physics course covers key topics essential for GCSE and A/AS level exams. In Paper 1, you will study energy, electricity, the particle model of matter, and atomic structure. Paper 2 covers forces, waves, and magnetism and electromagnetism. Through our structured modules, students will explore theoretical and practical aspects of physics, learning how to form hypotheses, design experiments, and use essential scientific formulae. Our course ensures that students gain a solid understanding of physics concepts, preparing them for exams and real-world applications of scientific knowledge.

HOW IS THE COURSE ASSESSED?
The course includes two written exams, each lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes. Paper 1 assesses topics 18-21, such as energy, electricity, and atomic structure, while Paper 2 focuses on topics 22-24, including forces, waves, and magnetism. Each paper is worth 70 marks. The exams include multiple-choice questions, structured questions, and open-response questions. By following our curriculum and completing the assessments, you will be well-prepared for the exams and gain the qualifications you need for further study or career progression.
